Think seafood for girls’ night out party

If you’re wondering how to feed those hungry troops, here’s the answer.
Dear Chef Kathleen: I’m having about 15 girlfriends over for New Year’s Eve and really need your help. Everyone is on some sort of a diet and I don’t cook. What can I serve that’s not too diety? What are the lowest calorie cocktails? I’m not dripping in diamonds, but money is no object for the party. Ann Marie
Dear Ann Marie: Think seafood! It’s high in protein. Protein, a low glycemic index food, helps keep you feeling full longer, and it’s relatively low in calories. A trip to a market with an excellent seafood counter and a sushi platter ordered in advance is all the fuss required to produce an elaborate, no-cook spread.
